About Jean

I read somewhere that the eye can discern over a million shades of color. I think I’ve been blessed with one (or two) of those eyes. My first love for color came with fabric when I was six and my sister taught me how to sew. My Barbie was the best-dressed doll on the block! It wasn’t long before I was making my own clothes, and learning to knit and crochet brought more textiles into my hands. My first job was at a fabric store and it was always satisfying when I could help someone pick out the fabric for their project; matching thread, buttons, zippers, and trims was a snap.

Now my passion lies in home textiles. I love mixing wood, tile, glass, fabric-bringing it all together in a cohesive design. My style has always leaned toward contemporary, but a trip to Europe in 1978 gave me an appreciation for old-world charm I will never forget. Classics will never go out of style.

My hope is not to push my style on you, but to help you develop your own style. Feel free to contact me to schedule an appointment.
